Beginning in Italy over 75 years ago, the Scuderi family began perfecting traditional Italian desserts. In 1978, Nuccio Scuderi opened the doors of Etna Italian Pastry Shop. Nuccio named the bakery after Mount Etna, a volcano in Italy near his family’s hometown. After re-evaluating in May 2020, Nuccio decided to change the location of Etna Pastry Shop in order to expand the business. Over the years, Etna Pastry has become well known in the Rochester area for wedding cakes, cookie trays, and other Italian desserts. Made in the tradition of old Italy, Nuccio made the decision to never sacrifice quality.
